Dear /CopyTechTeam,

Please i want your help i face a problem with IR5055 that gives ERROR 0000061-001
after i changed the value of PO-CNT from 1 to 0 the error disappear but the copy has a black background . i changed the wire of primary , adjusted the height of the wires ,check the pretransfer ,transfer assemblies but still has a black ground as appear in the attachment

Hello,

In Service mode > COPIER > DISPLAY > DPOT, reccord and send back the following values:

VL1T = (light-area potential target value; in V 1)
VL1M = (light-area potential measurement value; in V 1)
VL2M = ( light-area potential measurement value for developing bias; in V 1)
VDT = (dark-area potential target value; in V)

so u had a copy with background ?
then changed PO-CNT from 1 to 0 --and now a black/very dark copy ?

was that the original problem in first copy shown ????????

The main power switch must be cycled for the PO-CNT change to be activated.



Laser Shutter >is activated by the pin on the Primary Fan Duct Assembly.



The pin actuates the shutter through the opening in the Machine Front Plate




If an error code of E061 or E100 is experienced, check the shutter operation and the pin on the Primary Fan Duct Assembly.
If the pin is broken, it should be replaced. The pin can be replaced by replacing the Primary Fan 2 Duct.
Duct, Primary Fan 2 FC6-3540-000.

very thanks for your rapid answers, the readings of PO-CNT are

VL1T=75V
VL1M=235V
VL2M=236V
VDT=400V

and i will check the pin of the primary fan installed correctly or not and feed back the result.

Hello,

From the above values, i see that VL1M= 235 Volts. This is too high and it should be around VL1T. The reason is that you have a dirty dust proof glass or a dirty laser. So, start by cleaning them. If the issue is still there, replace your laser.

In this model, the laser beam dischrges the blank zones.

I have seen the wires break in harness for potential control sensor. Like stated.VLm is too high...laser not discharging drum. Pin for shutter possibly broken as mentioned

I like to inform that the ERROR E 00000061-001 is solved the reason is the pin of the primary duck fan assembly not open the shutter fully and now the m/c IR5065 works good very thanks.
