    LBP 5050 Showing Error Message

    Hello everyone!!!

    I Counter a problem on my printer that time to time showing a message of "Color Calibration Error". I clean all sensors but still showing..

    somebody can help me this problem??

      Hi, had the same problem on a couple of 5050N, got them working after upgradind the firmware and changing some cartridges (those who don't show their remaining life in the status monitor), pay atention to the cartridge age that you use, cartridges that sit for along time in the distributor's warehouse have a tendency to cause that for some reason, also you can check if your printer is the upgraded version, look for a small black dot on the metal on the left side of the chassi after you open the front door to access the cartridge drawer, if you can't find it let me now and i will point you to the upgrade itself. hope it makes sense and helps you out

          Thank you for your reply Bipc, the 4 toner cartridges are new, only the firmware I did not yet updated. so far as of now the customer did not call again after I clean the ITB unit, If they call I will update unto new version.. The spot that you are talking, what that's for? for manual opening of toner/drum drawer? sorry I did not know that spot.
