New to this forums but great source of information.
My Canon iPF655 has thrown Hardware Error 03130031-2618. Basicly it was working fine, but I had not used it for some months. When I tried to print last night a couple of drawings for a tender submission, it started cleaning the head. Instead of finishing it threw up this code and has been unusable ever since!
Also I cannot enter Service Mode. I press "Load" + "Navigate" buttons, it does show "S" up right, but then it does and shows nothing when pressing < or >. Instead it continues to boot and throws up the error code again.
I also tried L Printer Service Tool 1.60, but it doesn't detect the printer. Ironically, Windows does detect it on the USB port.
Also, something related: A couple of months back a lighting stroke somewhere nearby and damaged some of my network switches. The printer was connected to one of them and its network interface stopped working ever since.
Any ideas on what I should be looking at, would be helpful. The Service Manual says that it is Power Supply issue, but I have read here that it might be the Print Head...
