Canon IR2016i 2 sided mode will not go to 1 to 2 sided

Hi guys!
I have a Canon IR2016i that constantly says 2 sided mode on the touch screen and will not t change to 1 to 2 sided when selected.
(will only go to 2 to 1 or 2to 2)
