Open front cover. the left cover is held in with one screw. remove the screw and shift the left side cover forward to release it. Metal clip and 2 connectors and the laser unit comes right out. The laser cleaning wand does a poor job of cleaning the laser. ITB removal is remove all drums, open right door, pull down the metal piece with the 2 optical sensors on it, lift up on the blue handles from the ITB and it should release and slide out.

To remove ITB assy - lower R/H Door, press in the 2 'silver' plates on the L & R/H side hinge arms, this drops the R/H door down even further - pull the T/fer unit down & slide/angle up.
The Error code refers to Cyan Toner hopper - try vacuuming inside the hopper to clear the toner sensor of any buildup - if that doesn't work, might have to replace the Hopper assy - had to replace 4 so far & not much fun.

            Hi,

had this problem a few times, the fix that works for me is quite a process, but worked every time.

we used to suspect the drums, but they are quite reliable even though they dont last long.

What i did was remove the laser assy and clean it thoroughly, then you will need to clean the ATR Patch sensors. the tedious part is that you will need to remove the toner supply assemblies as they seem to dribble a lot on to the laser shutter Assy and thus toner gets onto the laser glass, there is a bit of work to be done, but it isn't that bad and the machine will love you for it.

This is what i found was causing those errors for me..........hope this helps
