Canon ir3300i with Windows 7 Pro computers..

Have a customer that has upgraded their computers to Windows 7 Pro 64bit and now their Canon ir3300i will not see the computers so they can not scan to a shared folder on their server. Will this copier not work for scanning anymore to a Win 7 pro 64 bit computer? Do I need to upgrade them to another copier?

You may need to install 'Canon Scan gear for windows 7 64bit; you can download this from 'Canon Europe website'. I think its version 13.0.0 (64bit) released in 2006.
