    IR 2270 registration off. cutting off trailing edge on multi copy jobs

    I normally work on HP printers. My customer has IR2270 with 55k copies on it. It is cutting off the trailing edge of copies (sometimes by almost 3/4 inch) on multi copy jobs (10-40) page jobs. Seems to start off as a smaller cut off then gets wider. On single jobs it is normally ok. Happens out of both trays. Unit is in a pool supply store, so I know i have had other problems with corrosion on swtiches/clutches on some of the HP printers because of all the chemicals in the building. I am thinking it must have something to do with registration roller / clutch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Replace the reg clutch, it's a slipping.
