    Hi to you all !
i have this problem with a canon clc1140 indicating jam code 0161
this is what i have done so far: replace sensor Ps 12, cable connecting that sensor, delivery unit as an ass'y, sensor separation ps7, cable connecting that sensor. do you have other ideas ?????

    thanks

Jamming in the fuser assembly. The jam code indicates a problem at the internal delivery sensor (PS12). After replacing the sensor the jamming and code still occur.

    Solution :
This code can also indicate a faulty separation sensor (PS7). Check the sensor and the wire harness to PS7.

Ok i had the same issue.. They coiuldnt print multi ltr but mine also went with all paper out drawers only MF would work.. upon arrival I found the oil pad caked and crusted so I soaked the new pad in oil before installing and tryed still jams.. customer closed at 430 it was now 5 so I left oredered the sens lever and cable. Came back replaced the sensor lever and cable Still jamed.. The customer is running Hammer mill 24 lb paper not the clc stuff the stuff just under it.. I rechecked the fuser cut wire ties insured good connection. The fuser rollers were wearing But I have seen ALOT worse. Plus they only had 9k on them. So after all that still jam. only thing left the rollers so I replaced them and POP no jame s on any of there stock untill I did 2 sided on the 24 lb.. all first side went thru fine no isses but 1st page of 2nd side JAM 0161.. I putt some of my Hammermill 28lb CLC paper worked like a champ no issues.. I left it as a 2sided paper issue the 24lb stuff seemed to be slightly curling from second side ((APEARED)) So im wondering if i actually fixed it or just allow me to get another 9k before replacing the Fuser rollers again. I suspect that the oil pad got so gunked up that it scuffed the rollers and started to cause the issue.. But if the issue comes back in 8k I will have to check the OIL supply and make sure its appling OIL. Just thought I would FYI this because even a slightly scuff Fuser roller can cause jams to..

          follow up

as for today the problem is not solved, things done so far: replace sensor and actuator Ps12 and wiring, replace sensor and actuator Ps7 and wiring.
delivery unit ( swapped from another machine ). fixing unit (swapped from another machine ), and still jamming with the same 0161 code.
i think the next step would be to throw the machine in the sea.
So if you have another fix just let me know.
ps costumer is using Xerox 28 lb laser paper.

          thanks again
