hi guys pls help me i have ir -2830 ...i chnged every thing like ....drum unit ..developer unit...and hvt but same issue is going on so pls suggest me thanks in advance...

Did you try stopping the machine in the middle of the copying procces, so that you can see is there image on the drum surface ?

yes i m stopping the machine in the middle of the copying procces but we cannot find image on the surface of the drum.......

hi if the ir 2830 is the same family that ir 2270 and ir 4570.... maybe the problem is the laser unit, when you open and close the right door the shutter of the laser is blocked, you can remove the shutter.

i am already removed the laser shutter....but same problem bro......

At first sight it looks like laser is not working and really i dont know the reason
Try to change it

Do you have blank copies when you print as well? Or is it just when you are copying? Did you get any error messages in the past ? Try going to the service mode>copier>display>err to see if you had any laser related errors in the past.

when i am copy and print both is blank..i also changed new one laser but same issue is going on....no any laser related error in error history...thanks bro..

I had similar problem once on iR 5570. After changing everything ( laser, DPC sensor, HV board etc.....) we have discovered that the problem was in loose connector on pre-exposure lamp. Check connectors on pre-exposure lamp, or try replacing it if you have another. There is a test in service mode for pre-exposure lamp :
COPIER > FUNCTION > MISC-P>PRE-EXP - Checking the pre-exposure lamp (LED)
<Operating procedure>1) Press this item to reverse its display.
2) Press the OK key. After executing each operation for several seconds, the
machine stops automatically. (All lit)
3) Press the OK key to start printing.
Reference
If the lighting of the pre-exposure lamp gives a problem to the photoconductor
drum, rotate the drum.
