    iR2020 Blank Op Panel

    Board gets power, it lights up but the panel is blank. Also, it can't be pinged or printed to, not sure if that is related.

    Replaced IPB board and the DIMM.

    Still blank panel.

    About to replace the op panel next, is there anything else I should be looking for? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

      24V is being held down by a faulty component. Only thing in my casefiles regarding this is an IP board but that had a green light lit.

          Okay so the only way to check it is to remove parts with power on until the op panel comes on? I've done this with Ricoh machines, wasn't sure if I could do it with Canon's.

          Drum, developer, fuser, paper trays, scanner, or even the op panel? Can I power it up with these parts disconnected or removed?

              Yep, I really hope you have the manual though. There isn't much to this machine at all. Also lack of 3.3V aka all night power, will give you a similar result, usually caused by a voltage being drug down

                      I have the manual. However there is no wiring diagram, just a component layout. I can tell that the IPB board supplies voltage and signals to the op panel. Is there a test point on the IPB I can check to see where the 24v signal is lacking or too low?

                          Unfortunately not, I wish they had em. Gotta measure from the connector or pin
