Hii, is anybody can help give information about firmware
I want to know about function canon copier firmware?
Wheter the firmware just to repair hardisc error or can create the new empty hardisc?

HDD's are usually specific to it's model/ Firmware is loaded into a blank HDD that has be formatted while inside the printer with the Canon SST PROGRAM> then u can load models firmware into it---
u can use firmware to repair an HDD error (usually need to replace HDD in most cases) or use firmware to update various versions.
u can ghost from a working printers HDD to a blank HDD / it's a trial & error when u try that

Canon Firmware is the operation system of the model--(no firmware =no operation )
