      E808
error has been caused by one of the connectors for the fixing assembly not being plugged in when the unit is powered on.
This has happened after replacing the fixing assembly and not plugging in the connector or when trouble shooting on the machine for some other problem and leaving the connector unplugged. The connector is to the thermistors in the fixing assembly. In the general circuit diagram it is connector J255DH.
The connector is a six pin connector with two yellow and two orange wires going into it. It is the top connector located above and to the right of the fixing assembly. It is behind a cover on the side of the machine.

To clear the E808 code unplug the machine for about 10 minutes. If the thermistors are bad the code will appear but will not reset until the fixing film assembly is replaced. The part number for the fixing film assembly is FM2-3346-000.
