Anyone use Canon IRC6800 Image Transfer Belt for Canon Imagepress C1 ??? I see same size but different about material

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE

can't imagine if the 2 reflecting surfaces inside belts for HP would line up

How do you think if insert 2 white tag inside the belt for HP can work ?

Both belts have the white reflectors inside--see if they match up
U can not use tape or other material inside belts

Why don,t u just buy the correct item

Are u a tech ?

Why not? if its the case that you have the 6800'belt already there and you not have to order it, give it a try. You have nothing to loose. There will be no damage, if the marks dont fit, the mashine will code out with an error.
i would try it.
