My Copier ir7086,5075.both have problem with main controler pcb.I dont know how to fix it.
Is anybody can help give information where to buy.

If you don't know how to fix them .......how do you know the Main Controllers are the problem!!!!

POST the Error Codes of each Unit & maybe we can point you in the right direction.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS > 2+8 > ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS > COPIER > DISPLAY > ERR.

My copier display black out.And I already checked main controler pcb dead.I did'nt know how to repair main controler pcb.

Try to take out and clean boot ROM.
worked for me on 5075 series couple times

I have tried even replace with the same type machine bothroom
And sd ram.still was not work.

U have two different main controllers> for two different models riR7086,iR5075 & both have the same exact issue

NO Display ? Dead Main Pcb. ?

iR7086 model
There is No Display and on the control panel Green LED is not lit yes or no
Check the connector J1040 on the Main Controller

-No Power But The Green Led On Control Panel Is Lit yes or no

When the imageRUNNER is turned on, only the green led on the Control Panel is lit. The display screen is dark, and the copier does not cycle.


iR7086 model
Did u check AC output from the All Day Power supply at connector J782.

J782 from the All Day Power Supply supplies AC voltage to the DC Power Supply.
Is there 5 Volts present from J784 Pin1 on the All Day Power Supply, to the DC Power Supply

Disconnect J1718 from the Relay Pcb.
If the display lights, suspect a load from the DC Controller side, as J1718 supplies DC power to the DC Controller.

In some cases powering up the copier with the Fixing / Feeding Assembly out also caused the display to light. After checking the wiring from the Fixing / Feeding Assembly, it was found the cause of the no power problem to be a shorted 5V line the Fixing Feed Assembly.

Check if 3.3V on connector J3001 on Main Controller PCB is present.

If No voltage is found at connector J1021 for the remote signals from the Main Controller PCB to Relay PCB.
This indicates the imageRUNNER 5075/5065/5050 is in sleep mode.

The Soft switch on control panel was found pressed and stuck down.
Replacement of control panel resolved issue.

check for supply voltage at J101 on the DC Controller /must be 24Volts DC .
To troubleshoot this issue, check the remote signals @ J1021, pins 1 and 2 on the Main Controller.
The voltage should be about 2.8 to 3Volts Dc. If the remote signals are present, check for an output @ J4003 on the DC Power Supply.
The DC Power Supply supplies voltage to the DC controller through J4003.
If no voltage is being output from J4003, disconnect J101 from the DC controller and check the reading again. If the DC power supply is now outputting, suspect a load on the DC controller side.

Start with eliminating all the connectors on the DC controller except J101. J101 is the supply line to DC Controller from the Power Supply @ J4003.
After the connectors are removed, check to see if 24volts is present at the DC Controller.
If 24Volts Dc is present; this would indicate that the DC controller is functional and not causing the Load.
Install one connector at a time on the DC Controller, until you loose the 24volts at J101. Once the connector that is loading down the machine is located, investigate for a faulty component or wiring short in the harness.

Actually I already did final test to the same model canon ir 7086.and yes main controler really dead. But tomorrow I will make sure wheter panel lamp indicator lit or not.

process of troubleshooting a power issue requires patience , understanding & following procedures/
u are all over the place.

u have not explained anything about power to printer>power from printer> to all boards / called input>output .
