Ir5570 not copy but prints

Hi to all comrades,I came across this problem that am failing to diagonise.This machine can print from the PC and the P-print can print but fails to copy.The copier does not get ready to copy but when you
command to print the copy comes out.I have tried to re-seat the Rams and the Boot to no success.

U place a document on the glass> hit the key>
Does scanner move under document ?

Oh yes the scanner moves while the ready green key does not light.

No alarm or error codes, the green led on the start button does not light to show that copier ready to copy.

Product : imageRUNNER 5070 / 5570 / 6570 Finisher T1 Saddle Finisher T2

Title : The imageRUNNER will indicate "Warming Up"or"Waiting to Print"on the Control Panel

Problem :
The imageRUNNER will indicate "Warming Up" or "Waiting To Print" on the screen. The imageRUNNER may alternate between the two modes.

Solution :
If the imageRUNNER indicate either or both of these messages, check to see if the Fixing temperature is rising. If it is, try disconnecting the Finisher. If the imageRUNNER will come to ready with the Finisher disconnected there may be a fault in communication with the Finisher, even though no error code is indicated.

Check to see if the Staple Cartridge is properly seated. It has been found if the Cartridge is not fully seated in the Stapler the above symptoms may be observed.

Incidentally this machine has no Finisher.The machine indicates warming up but does not indicate
waiting to print because the green led on the print button is not enhanced.

check the flat ribbon cable from Reader controller to Printer Main Controller

??? if u put paper in DF Tray> can u scan from PC to printer
does DF Tray recognize paper ??

Have u checked for stuck keys ?? (buttons must have a easy release down & release back up) check all on panel

& have u pulled off this Control panel to inspect key buttons ??

I didnt take note of this,Teckat.However i will be getting back to ground in couple of days coz the
machine is 200km a way.Thanx so much for the ideas,i will get back soon.

I re-visited the machine today and made the following observations;
1.When you press the ON/OFF key on the panel,the green led lights and machine comes ready for
copying.
2.When the copy is put on the copy on the copyboard glass and press the print key,the copier scans
indicates scanning and printing,pulls the paper up to the registration roller the runs continously for
about 10 minutes.It suddenly mutes to OFF/ON and restarts.No alarms no error codes.
3.When the copy is put on the ADF,it will scan the copy ,the just indicates scanning and printing
without pulling the paper.
CAUSE OF ACTION;
I tried to re-seat all the rams,the boot,the flat communication ribbon to no success.
I have tried to reload the firmware which am failling to do.To be honest am loading the firmware on
this particular model for the first time and may request for guidance.
Am using the sst version 4.63;and crossover cable.The fixed IP Address of the firmware is172.16.1.100;i have configured my pc with this address thus,172.16.1.101,with subnet mask of
255.255.255.0 with firmware version 42.01.
When i try to re load the firmware,i receive a massage on the sst;machine seem not connected to
pc.
More ideas welcome.

The problem is finally solved.A defective reader controller pcb was the cause of the problem.
After i repaired the board the machine is now ok.Special regards go to Teckat for the guidance
and all comrades for your ideas.
