Re: White lines on ir5870c
check white plate----------for glass copy issues
stray dust inside the reader unit collects on the white plate, showing up as lines in output images.
cross-feed = front to back
these are some blank spots & not directly thru the entire image (see lower 1/4 of image as shown)
Check the Secondary Transfer Outside Roller SURFACE---

is this a glass copyis this on colors ? or BLACK ONLY ?(check Black developing cylinder)
post a Full Page Halftone (TYPE=5) test print
white spot images outlined in green inside red outlines have the exact same image & spacing between , as u can see

Re: White lines on ir5870c
Copy or print give same result. I've replaced secondary roller with another and no changes.
Tomorrow I'll try (TYPE=5) test print. On first look distance between two white lines correspond in diameter for (FM2-6857-000) roller unit, but I see no way that would affect the image transfer like this. Is it possible that the problem is in the HV?
P.S.
On this machine I replaced the HD and after deleting R-CON and D-CON I entered the parameters of the P-print.There is no stupid question, just stupid answerComment

did u check the fix roller & pressure for a flat spot/or spots
To help prevent the premature deformation of the Upper Fuser Roller is to change the setting of FX-CROT in service mode. The default setting for FX-CROT is set to 0. Try Changing the setting from 0 to 3.
Enter service mode level 1 (* 2 8 *), select Copier > Options > Body > FX-CROT and change setting accordingly.
center measurement distance between Line 1 & Line 2 is same> as between Line 2 & Line 3
funnybut did u check the paper stock ?

Re: White lines on ir5870c
Yeap... I had to replace colors starters and black developer unit. Now, finally working as it should. In addition, I changed all the primary rollers and cleaner unit. I decided to replace these with a copier models Canon iR5075, iR7105 and BH1051. Far fewer problems in maintenance. For the purposes of colors I like to use iRC5185i. If someone in Europe has the above B/W models on sale and they are in very good condition, let me privately contacted.
