canon 2318l & fk2-8240

Good day to all!
I've ,unfortunately, leant on this pdf

and purchased zip № fk2-8240-000 for apgrading this machine for network printing.
There is no connector on image proccesing board((( i can tinker this connector, but i
dont know if this machine has the same system software as ir 2318..
Can you help me&& alexpol@land.ru)))
Or I've had lost that money&)))))

Year, teckat! This kit, the same board, the same lists in box)) And machine - ir 2318L! I know, i missed. But that document from official site..
Or there is two form of 2318L - with opportunity of network and without& I only want to know about differences in system software on it - 2318 and 2318L
May be i connect adapter to board with soldering iron & renew software by it from 2318?

u don't & can not solder a network adapter to a board----------

iR2320N =COPYBOARD/NETWORK model/ does not need network board(standard is included)

iR2318L = COPYBOARD model (network is an option) this is you


the NETWORK ADAPTER plugs into image Processor PCB & not DController pcb

looks like this NETWORK ADAPTER board might just plug directly into the image Processor pcb/ look on processor for that CN101 slot

u need to use the metal bracket holder / do u have instruction book

But my image processor board has not the slot cn101! It is strange, but it is a truth(( there is only a brazing joint, but slot dont present. I writed to asian official site, but they dont beleve me too!))) My be my machine have produced for my region only(I live in Russia). If it have, i would be glad to know if on my machine the same soft as in ir2318l with live slot cn101.
I am yet ready solder my adapter pin and pin again!

Take a close-up picture of that IP BOARD & post it here



If image-processor has no input for adapter\ u can not solder it to pcb
Because of bus management in back of board

U are asking for trouble/ u can damage IP BOARD
I will check on IP part #'s
