    IR C2230i with fax card.
    How to set the number of rings

    hi,
    In the irc 3580i is like this...

    service mode
    fax
    ncu
    auto rx
    parameter 07.....default... 2

    if you change 2 to 5 the phone rings 5 times .....

    maybe it is the same in the ir c2230i

        1. The number of rings can be changed in service mode.
        SERVICE MODE>NCU>AUTO RX>#7= Set to desired number of rings.

        2. Service Mode > NCU > Special B > SW 27 bit 7 to "1"
        Once this switch is changed when the volume button is pressed the "Incoming Fax Ring" button will be present and the number or rings can be set.
        **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**
