canon ir2530 and ir 2520 series

hello folks,

i dont really know whether anyone has come across this problem but am having a problem of LOAD PAPER on the above series of copiers yet the machine has paper in all trays it has happened with over five machines and the only solutions was to switch the machine off and on and the problem goes away.
any assistance will be appreciated

Take out the pickup ass and clean all sensors and solinoid.

these are new machines all from different clients behaving the same way at different intervals

Make sure your On/Off switch for the Control Panel is not stuck or sticking

was printer in READY State or Sleep Mode

I would turn off any SLEEP MODE settings (check if on) / I hate those settings> causes weird issues on load paper ( either when no paper is loaded or paper loaded)


I would also remove MEMORY>clean ends and re-seat
( may not have be seated correctly in first place)

Are your problem solved?

may be you can check your pick up solenoid,replace the sponge

maybe the problem is.......Prevention of size detection error of paper loaded in the top 250-sheet cassette

Is the processing data led lit up when you get this error? I have the same issue except it states B5, but works just fine regardless.

no its not lit up and doesnt indicate anything except the load paper issue which means i cannot work

yah that could also be true because it worked on one of the five machines thanks man but i didnt find it on the others yet they were working untill that problem comes once in a while so whats the logic of switch on and off that momentarily takes the problem away

Maybe somebody was printing with a paper size that is not in the cassettes.
Turning off and on the machine will cancel the print job and the LOAD PAPER goes away.
You can press "SYSTEM MONITOR" to see what size of paper to load.
