The feeder on this machine does not work. when you put legal paper it prints on 11x17. letter paper pulls in halfway then stop and asks you to choose the paper size you want. after you pick the size it still prints out wrong. the print is shifted like if you were to put ltr-r on regular letter. i know that there are just some adjustments i need to run but i dont know where to find them. i also having jams with the duplex but i will post that in a different post. thanks in advanced.

The Feeder needs to be setup :
Go to SERVICE MODE > FEEDER > FUNCTION > SENS-INT > OK.
Slide the ADF Paper guides to A4.
Press FUNCTION > TRY-A4 > OK
Slide the ADF paper guides to A5R
Press FUCTION > TRY-A5R > OK
Now you can use the ADF.

Its the same principle, in Europe we have A4 & A5 in service mode you will have the paper sizes you use.

In the US you can replace TRY-A4 with TRY-LTR and TRY-A5R with TRY-LTRR to and of course you must set the paper guides to LTR and LTRR alternatively.

Do them all, it's in the installation manual. run a sens-init too.
