IRC 5045

I'm working on a IRC 5045 that is leaving a magenta line on the rear edge of prints and their is a strip around the transfer roller in the same area. I have cleaned the drum and developer area and the problem goes away then comes back. Any help would be appreceated.

IRC 5045 ? I don't know this model.

If it is an IRAC5045, I suggest you swap the Magenta drum with any of the two other colors as the color drums are the same.

Just replace the magenta drum. They all seem to wear at the ends first and leave streaks. Have found once one goes the rest are pretty close too

I am having the same problem with you.
According to Service Manual, the Color Drum life is aprox. 59K, but at 6K it already shows stripes on the edges.
Changing the drum fixed the problem, but again at 6K it begins to show stripes.
It is a brand new machine, check the developing units is all OK.
Anybody knows how to overcome this ?
