CHECK the CONDITION OF YOUR>
pick up rollers, feed rollers, and separation pads

replacing the pick up and registration clutches (CL1 and CL2) may resolve the issue.

Check & inspect/ noticed if both clutches have formed internal corrosion / this will cause the clutches to fail.

Both clutches have the same part number and the part number is, FK2-6870-000. Check the images below for their location.




check for the JAM CODES in service mode

Front cover open sensor (PS22)
Right cover open sensor (PS18)
Pedestal right cover open/closed sensor (PS9C)

um, I think the number 0004 is the 4th jam in the jam log not the code itself if I'm not mistaken. I've seen the leaf spring that grounds the registration roller cause door open jams before if that's the case.
