    Irc3380i Mac booklet printing problem

    Hi good day to everyone,

I have a customer using Mac PC to print document in booklet feature with PDF format. There want to print on A4 size so when it fold in booklet size become a A5 size. I have set all the setting in the print properties all correct like finishing in booklet, paper size A4 & paper source at drawer 1 which is A4 size. The problem is when I send the job to the copier machine the machine will ask for A3 size.

I have try on other PC which run on window 7 OS with same file format and setting and result print out perfect no problem. I need some one who we'll known with Mac OS who can help me on these issue. Thank you.

I would appreciate if you guys can give some guide on my issue.

Is it due to some setting in the Mac PC itself or the PDF format in order to print it correctly

Pretty sure that booklets are either done on A3 or A4R / Folio depending what you call it to make booklets, what finisher is it the Y2?

A major issue always with booklets, is the source file and its paper size, check the PDF

I would change a draw from A4 to A4R then test

I'm assuming you are using the internal print controller, and not a Fiery, correct?

If so, are you using the PostScript driver, or UFRII?

Whichever one, try the other. (That is of course, assuming the machine has PostScript in it.)

You only have PostScript as an option when printing from a Mac if you have the Fiery.

And vamoursly is correct; booklets are always a pain in the keister.
