    ir7200 e111

Hi, recall back to 5 years ago the error strike back now on ir7200 with e111 and e732 together.

The machine can turn on without error code when the front door is open. Once i closed the front door then fm14 fan stop rotating follow by the code e111. Turning on the machine with the front door closed then the code came out e111 followed by e732.

First i change the fm14 fan and the problem still the same. Then i changed the right deck pickup clutch (CL10) and the front door switch, the error still the same.

I dont know what to do next before we are going to test the PCBs.

Here is something that might help from the Canon Help Site.

    Symptom
    1. The iR is displaying an error code at start up of E111. This code is defined in the Service Manual as being related to the rotation of the Laser Motor Cooling Fan.
    2. Error code E111-0000 with E202 error codes in the service history.

    Cause
    • Faulty Laser Motor Cooling Fan (FM14)
    • Faulty DC Controller PCB Assembly
    • Faulty 40V Transformer PCB Assembly
    • Shorted Clutch (E218, E215, E111)
    • Data Corruption in RAM (DCON & RCON)

    Action
    1. Check the voltage from the Relay PCB at J1713. Check to see if 38 volts is present. If the voltage is not present, try removing J1713 from the relay board and see if the iR will come up without the code. If the iR will boot up without the E111 code, suspect a fault in the 38 volt circuit. In this instance it was discovered to be a faulty 40V Transformer PCB Assembly (FG6-2512-000). The 40V Transformer PCB connects to the Relay PCB at J1713, to J943 on the Transformer PCB.
    2. Check magnetic clutches CL16, CL17 and CL19 (FH6-5014-000
    3. Proceed to disconnect one connector at a time from the DC Controller. For example, when J511 was disconnected 24 volts returned. In this case after tracing wire found CL10: FH6-5043-000 (paper tray one pickup clutch was jammed with paper causing CL10 to burn out). After further analysis, other faulty clutches could possibly cause similar symptoms. However, the troubleshooting procedures would remain the same.

Location of the 40V Transformer PCB Assembly (FG6-2512-000)

    4. A possible solution is to perform DC-CON clear in COPIER > FUNCTION > CLEAR then to re-enter the door specifications. Next to perform R-CON clear and to do a CCD-ADJ in COPIER > FUNCTION > CCD.

Hi. The problem solve with your action no. 1.when i disconnect J1713 the code go off, so i changed relay pcb and everything working fine.

      Thank you.
