ir3570 U send and print problem

Morning guys,

I have a customer experience with scan to folder (U send) & print from computer it takes few minutes to go through to send it in the share folder and print out as well. These happen intermittent only which make trouble shooting difficult. Can it be the hard disk problem or the RAM need to change ?

Any advice from you guys which have experience with these problem.

Try upgrade firmware, Or check network settings.

The machine firmware is updated and network settings I assume is in order.

Check the network cables, if possible replace the RJ45 connectors.

Have change the RJ45 cable still the same problem. Any idea guys whats wrong with these machine

The first thing I would do as outlined previously is update the firmware to the latest version. Reseat the memory and the sata cable to the HDD

Now to aid troubleshooting;

Have you checked the IP configuration, is it valid for the ip subnet the copier is on?

The target machine that the copier is sending the file to via SMB - does it have to go to another subnet, via a gateway? - in other words is there a router or switch involved that is routing packets somewere else.

First thing I would do is locate another computer on the same subnet, same switch if you can manage it. Share a folder and then try and send a file to that, see if you can replicate your issue.

At present there are too many variables to diagnose your issue, the switch it is on could be network saturated, the server / computer you are sending it to could have a high disk I/O

Try another machine first and come back, hope this helps you on a friday afternoon, we should all be in the pub now.

Does sound like a HD slowing down to me. Try a HD from a different machine if one is available. Had this happen before.

Good day guys,

I have the solution on my issue already. I have conclude it is somewhere their network problem.

I take one of their nearest desktop computer which is nearest to the machine and connect it direct to iR3570 with a cross RJ45 cable (peer to peer) and the result perfect. Immediate after press the copy button to scan a document and it takes merely about 3-5 sec to the specific share folder already. Tried numerous of times the copier no hang and waiting.
