    E00998-010-05 in imagepress C6000.

Hola a todos, la imagepress C6000 indica codigo E998-010-05. Cada momento, cuando la enciendo aparece el codigo constantemente.
Alguien tiene idea donde puede estar el problema?

In an attempt to isolate the bad pcb, J2102 was unplugged and the machine still had the code. At that point, the other end of the ribbon cable was removed and code was not displayed. After inspection of the ribbon cable the sheathing was damaged and it was shorting to ground causing the error.

Replacing the cable FK2-2976-000 resolved the issue.

        Re: E00998-010-05 in imagepress C6000.

Just to note, I have seen this error pop up on a few of the imagepress that I work on and it happened at some point after I had unplugged the potential control connector and pulled out a process unit to clean up. After re-assembling and closing the doors, I would see E998. Appeared as though it had a time-out on how long the thing could sit there with her guts hangin' out.

Reboot fixed it, doesn't happen every time either.
