    Canon IR C2880 jamming at fuser

    Hi all

    Can anyone help with a Canon IR C2880 which jams at the fuser?

    The paper comes out of the fuser approx 2" fine then jams and the remainder of the paper buckles up. . . The first 2" that exits the fuser is not crumpled or damaged.

    It has just had a lower right hand side door mod and both cassette feed rollers.

    I even installed a known working fuser.

    Regards

    So jamming from all trays, side door modified done, no 003 errors and known good fuser put in.

    Is it jamming on all prints, 1 sided or double sided;

    I would direct my attention to the 3 way delivery, located just above the side door, maybe a flapper is not functioning correctly, actuator is blown, which can be tested in service mode.

      Even with a "known working fuser" - I would suspect the Orange Delivery Roller in the Fuser Cover is not turning freely, ie the Bushings & Shaft wear & will bind slowing the transport of the paper through the Fuser - test the movement of the roller with your finger - try a light silicon oil on the bushings.

        look like flapper on the 3way unit is now actuating properly. check that
