canon ir 5070 fax board

I have put 2 different fax boards in this ir 5070 both only receive 1st page of a multi-page fax. I can put a normal fax on the line and it works great. Am I missing an up grade ? I have never had to change anything on the copier when adding a fax. The machine doesn't give an error and the sending machine finally shows no good in the fax log.

Enter service mode, fax, clear and select NCU.

U may need to do a MMI CLEAR on this Printer

Clearing MMI and the Main Controller will delete some User, Service, and Network settings. Print out the User Data Lists, P-Print, Configuration Pages, and any other reports that contain valuable settings./ for input later
