IR3235i has has half inch larger void at top (machine rear)

The lead and trail registration are okay but top of page has a half inch larger void than normal. Check SM and saw lead edge registration but not top to bottom or void adjustment. If customer had done an image shift or margin shift would the setting remain or would it just stay temporarily. When i tried to move image up it just goes into void area. First time this type of call on this series. Void appears to be 7/8 of an inch. Any help is appreciated. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

I'd be checking the guides in the tray. Gears underneath break and customers push guides up against paper when its not in the right spot. Had it many times.

You were right Brian. The hole at bottom of tray where gear is positioned had becomelarger and gear was unable to mesh. Improvised temporarily and am getting another tray. Thanks again. Frank
