================================== When making copies or sending faxes the scanned image is light.
Replacing the Contact Image Sensor has resolved this issue.
Suggest re-seating connectors/cable to the sensor before replacing.
Make sure the correct part number is used for the machine. The LC720i has a separate part number. Additionally, check the following service mode setting. #6 Scanner > 8. CS Type > A4/LTR is for the LC720i and B4 is for the LC730/LC710i
CONTACT SENSOR UNIT = HG5-2864-000 For the LASER CLASS 730i/710
CONTACT SENSOR UNIT = HG5-2870-000 For the LASER CLASS 720i
