    print quality of c7055 vs c9065pro

    Other than speed, are there major print quality differences between the c7000's and the c9000pro's?

    I'm mainly interested in image quality for a small low volume print shop (under 10K month). They currently have a c5180 but want a new (used) machine with a decent upgrade in quality.

    All the pre-owned c9000pro models I see from wholesalers are either high metered or 3-4 times the cost of a c7000 model.

      As far as I know , quality should be the same on both.
      What do you consider high mileage?
      Not much goes wrong with them

          That is a very good question...

          Similar situation happened to me.

          I have looked hand by hand at sm of irac series and irac Pro series and to be honest there is not much difference in technology or more controlling systems on the pro side.

          Problem is that you cannot always believe the specs on the book. On most cases you need your long experience to tell the difference.

          Experience which I don't have with this machines

              I'm new to these too. I have one customer with 2 c9065pro's (cust bought off eBay 6 months ago) and I just placed a c7055 at another customer. I was surprised how similar the quality was. I can't really tell any difference with a test sheet off the glass or pg prints and the c7055 hasn't been installed long enough for me to see the cust run real jobs on it.

                  Copy quality is basically the same in my experience...

                  Main differences are greater accessory support on the C9000, and larger toner hoppers.

                  Mostly all of the parts are the same.
