    canon ipf765 error 161-403e

lets start by letting everyone know i don't do large format printers. this is the first one i have ever touched. i checked for the error and found out what to do to try to reset this code. it seems that the rh print head is overheating and needs to be replaced. how do i tell the meter count on this machine? i do know that they don't really have a page by page meter reading but they have to have something that will give me a clue to how much it has printed? the machine was bought in june of last year and they said there has about 12 rolls of paper used. they use the 3 foot wide by 300 ft long, which comes out to 3600 feet in length but i dont know the math to figure out the other 3 feet width. is that a lot for a print head for this machine? also in changing the print head something a copier guy can do? ive been taking apart and putting back together office equipment for 15 years so im not nervous about taking stuff apart. thanks in advance. sorry for the long post.

This printer counts the print length, number of ink tank replacements, carriage driving time, number of cleaning operations, number of cutter operations, and so on and stores them in the main controller's EEPROM as a COUNTER in Service mode

    COUNTER
provides important information about the printer usage status.
You can check this information by printing it in the service mode or displaying it on the display.

    COUNTER
Displays the life (operation frequency and time) of each unit, print counts for each media type, and else.
The count values can be printed from [PRINT INF].
