pliz assist error code e0355-04 in canon ir 2520 .error came after replacing image processing pcb

A 355 error is a serial # mismatch error between 3 boards the main controller the soft counter pcb and the soft ID pcb, if you swapped the main controller the other 2 boards need to stay with the machine, check your connector J8115 on the main controller this connects to the soft counter pcb which is in the cage with the controller, also check connector J8116 this connects to the soft id pcb which sits below the controller cage, you may have to do an error clear in service mode, but if you didn't keep the original 2 soft PCB's with the machine this error will not clear. could also be a bad controller -

thanx for the help but ths machine had a fault after a lightenning struck and the image pcb got burnt thats when i replaced with the other oner which gives me error e355-04.Comment
