    IRA 2535

    Hello

I have been told that this machine is producing light copies, I will test printing when I go onsite later via USB; the drum and developer is with life.

My first thought is toner deposit on the laser glass.

I have been looking through the SM and removing the laser scanner unit, so I can clean it effectively

Can this be done without removing the laser completely from the body, just interested to see if anyone has done this.

    Cheers

I took it apart and gave it a thorough clean including cis

I checked the laser unit could not see any toner residue, I changed the developer and ran a few hundred copies through until toner was at the correct density.

I am experiencing something odd, on copies the quality and density is were I would expect it to be, but on prints via usb and ufr there is a wash type effect on the bottom of the page.

I changed the developer according to the SM, but I did not see any further configuration requirements.

Can anyone verify if there are any further actions required post Dev swap out?

    Cheers

I inspected the laser as previous post suggests, I am going to change the secondary transfer roller, I think it has lost efficiency
