    Canon iR1023 Scanner Problem

I am called to check on a Canon iR1023 with no ADF. The first problem is the scanner won't move. Found out the reader motor is not working. I replaced the reader motor and the machine works OK. After one day I received a callback. Now the problem is the scanner only moves forward and doesn't return to home position. I replaced the Analog Processor Board (reader controller PCB) but the problem remains. After turning on the scanner moves forward and don't return to home position. CHECK DOCUMENT is displayed on the LCD and a flashing red light. No ADF is installed on the copier. Any ideas what could be the problem? Thanks.

Thank you northernlife. I'll do that then get back to you. I am thinking maybe I got a defective board from ebay. Any way to tell if the analog processor PCB is not working?
