[Misc] All copy/prints defaults to bypass tray -load paper msg iradvc5035

I HAVE TWO IRADVC5035 IN STUDENT AREA HAVING BOTH MFDs DEFAULTS TO BYPASS TRAY. EVEN A COPY FROM THE THE GLASS THROWS UP LOAD PAPER IN BYPASS. I TRIED REGISTERING NEW PAPER SIZE AND ALSO INITIALISED TRAY SETTINGS BUT ANY COPY/PRINT DEFAULTS TO BYPASS WITH HEAVY 2 PAPER REQUIRED TO BE LOADED., THE OTHER DEFAULTS WITH TRANSPARENCY. ALL THESE SETTINGS AREN'T SEEN IN THE SETTING BUT WHEN THE START BUTTON IS PRESSED THEN ONLY IT DEFAULTS TO BYPASS AND FLASHES THE TYPE OF PAPERS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

WHAT WILL BE THE APPROPRIATE WAY TO CLEAR ALL THESE SETTINGS. HOW ABOUT DC-CON CLEAR THOUGH I HATE TO GO TO THAT EXTENT.

PAPER FEEDS OK FROM BYPASS TRAY BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE SET AS DEFAULT. PLEASE ASSIST.

Check the service mode door label values for Cassettes & MF (note them)

& then look in settings below to make sure they are set to those values listed on label
    SERVICE MODE>COPIER>ADJ>CST-ADJ>MF-A4R, MF-A6R, MF-A4

    Can u
    'Cancel Settings'
under Settings / Registration > Preferences > Paper settings > Paper settings >

Settings and Registration>Preferences>Paper Settings>Register Multi Purpose Tray
it should be set to "OFF"

Check for a bent pin on the connector for the manual bypass tray.

    Last resort -------------

    MMI and MNCON clear.
Service Mode Level 1 > Copier > Function > Clear.

    Note:

Be sure to print out the User info and back up customers Addresses and Mailboxes, before proceeding with the clears.

Haha students. Do an initialize all settings and lock down the password from the default 7654321
Guarantee you the kiddies were pressing on stuff they weren't supposed to. They probably removed ADS/APS for every tray but the bypass.

If you hit copy and choose tray 1 does it feed from tray 1 or still prompting for loading the same paper size in the bypass?

Thanks for all who responded. Problem solved. After further investigation with IT officer it was noted that job separator settings in Settings/Reg>Functions>Common>job separator was set to On and defaulted to Bypass tray. It was turn Off and changed back to Drawer1 and problem solved.
