Rumbling noise on a 1025 after fuser change

    Hi Folks,

Getting a 1025 that I replaced the fixing assembly with and now it's doing a rumbling sound. Tried playing with the positioning but it's keyed so I don't have much play. What the heck am I doing wrong??

    Thanks

Check the positioning pin set location mark

Check the fixing gear retainer & gear

i scribe the key to make sure it's in the exact same position. Put the old fuser (film worn down no longer seperating properly) and the noise goes away, put the new OEM assy in and rumble rumble rumble. These little mickey mouse machines always take me for a ride. Can pull apart a 5255 in my sleep with no issues but the little ones get me....time for a career change lol

psh, I wish, CCI is the worst for even drum warranties. Once the box is opened we're stuck with it.
