    [Misc] IRA 6255

    Does anyone know if a cassette heater is available for the main body cassettes on a 6255?? I only see one abvailable for the euro versions but not the US.

      neither my service guide nor sales guide even list a heater on the 6255

              I think it's only available for the Option Deck (D1) in the Land of OZ at least.

                  Yeah, which still makes no sense to me on why they would not make it available to us here. I've got a customer in a high humidity area with severe paper curl that I'm trying to work out a solutiion with and have'nt hit the right combination yet. In the words of Willie E Coyote....Back to the old drawing board

                      Introduction of Cassette Heater Kits for High Humidity Environments

                      In locations where high humidity is present, a Cassette Heater can be installed to help reduce the amount of moisture in the paper and thus aid in paper feed throughput.
                      If an imageRUNNER device is equipped with a Cassette Pedestal Unit, an additional Cassette Heater Unit is required for Cassette 3 and Cassette 4 to help eliminate moisture in the paper.
