Canon Imagerunner color , 2380/3080/3580 photoconductor lifetime

Howdy. I have a question regarding photoconductor lifetime. I have a couple of old photoconductor that I want to bring out the values from. How can i see the exact value in the machine / service-mode? . The memory is loaded into the machine and not the photoconductor?

    the drums are used!!

    Thanks in advance

values, do you mean the copy count? Or the life of the consumables?

Hi thanks for your reply. The thing is that when I put in drums and then check misc the machine shows the values of the original drums and not them as I pushed into the machine?. Should there be any reset or something?

forget about Drum Life count on these models
means nothing> it's the %pct amount of toner used during copying that wears drum surface/

if u were trying to sell me printers & promote it's currant consumables life expectancy , I would laugh in your face

            I go by TOTAL PRINTS/COPIES METERS & that's' it

machine keeps track of copies due to the CRUM on the drum unit. You can't take it from one machine to the other you need to pull the counter from the originating machine. the service mode drum life starts when the ainr is initiated at drum change. It burns a fuse or resistor (never got a real answer) and then starts the counter.
