[Misc] Canon iR Adv C2220 Print quality issue in Autocad 2012

Hello everyone, I have a problem with print out from Auto Cad software to Canon iR Adv C2220. (New)

Canon iR Adv C2220 printing light when using Auto cad (Printing speed is also slow)

copying is fine but printing drawings is light (size A/3)

Is there a driver setting to fix this.? (UFR II) or any other adjustment?


If anyone can help me to solve this problem.

Ref printing light. Just in the CAD application, on a specific computer, or on CAD on multiple computers.

What is the print density like in other applications, such as Excel or Word and Outlook?

Is the density light just on black, what about colours?

Did you say that copying is ok?

First thing to do is obviously, clean the laser glasses using Canon magic wand. Then retest.

Printing is Light just only in Auto cad.
& I had checked in multiple pc.

color printing quality is just perfect from word & excel.

light print comes in color printouts only. & copy quality looks ok when I had copied one original drawing which was printed on other color laser printer. (canon LBP 9100cdn)

copier is just new & printing from all app is good. problem in printing is just from Auto cad only.

Hi,
Try to change to Designs[CAD] in tab Quality of Printer driver if you are using UFRII
If not effective, please upgrade machine to PS printer kit.

Given you feedback it does look you have been diligent and isolated the issue to the CAD software.

What driver are you using at the moment, the UFR or PCL driver? I dont think PS is standard with these machines.

All I can suggest in that case is to install and test the PCL driver;

Take the issue up with AutoCAD
