E540-8005 is defined as a tray 1 shift motor speed error/for Inner

did u check for any jam codes history related to finisher

Does the tray move at all and then give a 1c40 jam code before the ecode?

S14---replace the stack tray clock sensor S14
The part number for S14 is WG8-5836-000.

            what type Finisher is installed
            --Staple Finisher-C1 ?
            --Inner Finisher A-1 ?

liked asked> is it the inner or exterior finisher-

-if Internal Finisher-A1 >make sure the finisher paper tray is not crooked.
(will effect proper height of the stack to be detected correctly).
(realign so that it is straight and level).

Does it move at all when you cycle the unit? If it's just stationary then motor/harness/finisher controller
