We purchased a used iR C5180 (part of large purchase of assets). Try to get it set up on our network but instead of the network setting menu (as displayed in the manual), on the touch screen we get different menus.
(go there through: additional functions -> system settings -> network settings)
We get menu:
- Change settings / display connection Confirm.
- TCP/IP settings
- E-mail/I-Fax
So not the standard menu screen of:
- Change settings / display connections
- TCP/IP settings
- Netware settings
- Apple talk settings
- SMB server settings
If we choose TCP/IP settings, we get following menu:
- Use PASV Mode for FTP
- Certificate Settings
- Proxy Settings
(instead of the normal menu choices IPv4, IPv6, DNS, WINS)
Does this have to do with a print server possible installed? There is an imagePASS-H1 connected to the C5180. So I guess this has to do with it.
Can I reset the printer to default settings so I get the normal TCP/IP setup screen? We do not need to imagePASS-H1.
Alternatively, how do we make the imagePASS-H1 working (without knowing the IP address)? Can we hard reset it?
Please advise.
Thank you,
Roel
