[Misc] Department ID, password and System error E000 Disabling on Canon iR1610

I have a Canon iR1610 Copier. Previously, it was working perfectly until a fortnight ago when there was a power failure. When power was restored and the machine was switched on normally, it just displayed department ID, password and a system error E000. I have no idea about the ID and the password. The machine can not respond to any key. Please am devastated, help me to fix this problem.

did u get a power surge from outlet to printer ??/

did u check your Printer Power Supply

    SYSTEM ERROR E000

To clear out the System Administrator Password, follow the procedure below. Service Mode > #12 Clear > User Data > OK.
Note: There is no need to reboot the machine and System Settings should now be accessible.

Master Password 'Hejsan' must be used. This will allow you to enter Administrator Mode to upgrade the Network Interface Adapter. NOTE : The Master Password is case sensitive.

I did not get a power surge from outlet to printer but the copier's power supply is just okay. I thank you so much for the post but that procedure can not be performed as the machine can't be set into Service Mode due to none-response. What could be the effect of removing the battery from the machine for 10 seconds?

        -------------------------------

did u pull out the FIX UNIT to inspect ?
After ensuring that the fuser circuit is operating properly,

enter service mode address #12, "CLEAR". Proceed to "ALL" and perform an "ALL CLEAR". After doing an "ALL CLEAR", unplug the IR for 5 minutes.

        check this
u may have a stuck key/button on panel> that would prevent any entering into service mode

U may need to reload FIRMWARE ------------------------------

I have tried all what I could but nothing has changed and everything seems to be okay. Being the NEW USER of this machine I did not understand what you meant when you talked about reloading FIRMWARE. Could you kindly be a little bit erabote on that? Thanks!
