Your reboot only occurs when printing from the network
the sub R-A PCB could be faulty.
R-A PCB.JPG
i would also check that sub RB-A pcb/ remove and re-seat
known as the UFRII pcb.(standard print kit in "i" series/ unless u disabled it to install a imagePass Fiery H1
if u installed a H1 Fiery> slot #1 will have a sub RA-O (Open IF PCB) for Fiery
remove & re-seat it >also check ot's I/F Cable if this applies to you
also check the FIX UNIT temp readings/ have seen this on a few of these models/ when sending Prints .
have u tried using a Laptop to Print ?Last edited by teckat; 07-07-2014, 06:54 PM.**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.** -
Re: firmware for irc 5185i
Try this Clear here
COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR
ERDS-DAT = Embedded-RDS SRAM data clear
SCM data in the embedded-RDS SRAM are restored to the factory settings.
================================================== ===============
before u clear anything> u need to print out P PRINTS >that have settings needed to re-input
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
RCON or DCON clear is a waste of time for your issue-------
----------------------------------------------------------
Also this MMI & MN-CON is a waste also> don't do it
MMI = Clears following user mode setting values:
- Backup data for copy operation panel (user-set values)
- Common settings backup data (user-set values)
- Backup data (except fax data) (user-set values)
The setting values are cleared after the main power switch is turned OFF/ON.
Operation method
1) Select this item, then press the OK key.
2) Turn the main power OFF/ON.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MN-CON = Clears RAM on main controller PCB's SRAM board.
- The RAM is cleared after the OK key is pressed.
- Performing this item initializes all the data on the SRAM board. In other words, file management information for the hard disk is initialized, and image data on the hard disk can no longer be read.
Before performing this item, explain to the user that all images in the BOX will be lost, and receive permission to perform.
Operation method
1) Select COPIER > FUNCTION > MISC-P > P-PRINT to print out the service mode setting values.
2) Select this item, then press the OK key.

Re: firmware for irc 5185i
Additional Functions>System Settings>Restrict Printer Jobs.
Check This setting ?
Make sure it is set to OFF.
After setting it to off, print jobs should again printing
Did u ry a MN-CON CLEAR in service mode ?
Or------>
Perform an MMI Clear ----To clear MMI, perform the following steps. Service Mode > Function > Clear >MMI
*Note Be sure to run a User Data Report before performing a MMI clear, because the IP address will be cleared out during this operation.
Additional Functions > Common Settings > Standard Local Print Settings > Erase Document After Printing > set to "ON"Last edited by teckat; 07-27-2014, 09:56 PM.**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**Comment
