Recomedation for a good canon printer

    Hi,

I am interested in upgrading mi current equipment, 2 canons irc-4080 and 1 kyocera 500ci.

Specs needed; Color print & copy, able to print double sided on 300gsm and perfect registration.
preferable a canon. i saw the irc-7055 specs and it looks promising.

Would appreciate If anybody with experience on these machines can share their thoughts.
Current equipment is giving me lots of trouble with copy quality issues specially when printing on heavy card stock.

We do a lot of card printing, single and double sided, plus posters flyers and general color printing and copying.

    Can't afford a vp6000 or 7000.

    Thank you,

    Jose Antonio

7055 won't do more than 200gsm reliably. You're asking for a heck of a lot without having a budget for it.

Yes i know this is maybe too much to ask for, but i can live 1mm max. Current equipment varies 2mm or more on registration.

        Thanks for the info guys,

According to my sales guides the 7000 series ir advance supports 80lbs max, or 202gsm. Am I getting conflicting info here?
