[Misc] Mac driver problems iR ADV C2030

    Hi all,
I am having a couple of problems in an all Mac environment, I'll break it down by os version. Hopefully someone has a solution other than smash the Mac(whish is where I am at the moment). BTW, driver is latest UFRII LT from Canon, I've tried the 3 most recent. No PS license cust won't pay.

    Mac OS 10.7.5 AND 10.8
Print great can access defaults via //localhost/631/admin
However, when sending multiple copies the machine will not offset. It is set to do so as a default. In acrobat, the only way it will offset is if I deselect "Coallate" from Adobe print dialogue. But when I do it freak in groups pages then offsets.

    Mac. OS 10.9 Maverick
Prints great with all functionality, however you cannot set / access defaults! It gives a random script error when you try to access cups. Also did try to set printer defaults using safari print dialogue.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks
Some people may say I have a short temper, but I prefer to call it
"A swift and assertive reaction to bullshit"

I may be mistaken, but I'm fairly certain that MAC's use post script AS their driver...so they will basically need to pay for the option or it won't work.

Had the same issue on a pc ,customer sorted it in the end with a new driver
see his email below to a colleague

      Hi Scott

Just thought I would let you know I have had another look at our printing issues and made some progress.

I downloaded and installed the latest drivers for the printer (from April this year). I cleared out the old drivers as the clients didn't always pick up the latest drivers. This seems to have resolved some of the problems we were having such as printing profiles not been applied correctly.

I have also found an option on the printer settings (see image below). Ticking this box stops the issue we were having where individual pages were being offset when printing a document.

I have not checked it in all applications but so far so good.

      Best wishes

this was also shown up only on adobe docs, ask it to collate it wouldn't .
