Hi all..i have a irad-c5045 which keeps throwing e001-003..we have changed fuser film,ac driver,relay pcb,whole right hand door,fuser switch,fuser drive assembly,dc cont and updated firmware to the latest!!...any ideas would be welcome!!..was at machine today after changing fuser 1 way gears and after a hour testing eveything looked fine ..fuser temp good on print and on idle..2 hours later out it comes again...going back tomorrow with pressure roller and bearings but they looked ok and were seated properly...again any ideas most welcome!!!!!

Copier > Option > CUSTOM > TMP-TBL set to -2
Copier > Option > Image Fixing
FN-ENTMP set to -2 (if problem persists set to -4)
FX-S-TMP set to -2 (ITOP Adjust for plain paper 1)

For Heavy 1, 2, 3, or Thin paper:

Copier > Option > Image Fixing > TMP-TBLxx (Adjust the paper type that is having the issue.)
FN-ENTMP set to -2 (if problem persists set to -4)
FX-S-TMPxx -2 (Adjust ITOP for proper paper type)

Turn copier OFF / ON"

I had one doing same thing a while ago. Make sure power is ok(clean,correct and stable...no fridge on same circuit). Had to replace the connector assembly that fuser plugs into when installed, Clean and recrimp pins(contacts) on both sides of connector before replacing it....some De-oxit on connectors will help

Hi Steve listed this machine a couple of months back and we are back with the same fault. E001-0003 we have changed the settings that were listedmon the post before to -2 and all seamed to be fine for a bit. It has now been reset 3 times in 2 days. Setting in service mode changed to -4 last night and back in a few hours of use.

Power supply separate with nothing else plugged in.

Main controller version 79.04
DC con 71.01

Any help would be great

I had to replace connector on machine that fuser plugs into on one machine....throwing out intermittent fuser errors

This error can be caused when the film doesn't turn. Fixed many with new one way gear and shaft. U might find some relief by replacing the lfr and bearings. Especially if the bearings are seizing and causing the film to stop turning. Good luck

There is a new updated fixing drive assembly for this model. Try that, also if you are seeing some 0107 jams it would also point to the drive assem. Alternatively, you can just replace the shaft inside FC0-4998-000.. The one way Gear/clutch wears and slips on the shaft. The shaft has been hardened so not to wear out and slip. Tech Pub Jan 2013 E001 and 0107 jams..
