Canon Imagerunner 5050n

Paper drawer 2 is not detecting paper. Drawer is currently half full.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Does tray come up when you close it? If not,turn machine off and on to reset lifter motor

The tray does not come up. I have tried cycling the main power to get it to reset and it does not work. Is there anything else I can try?

Perform COPIER > ADJUST > CST-ADJ in the service mode and restore original settings as recorded on the Service Label.

Look behind tray...might be a piece of paper preventing drive to lift tray

Remove no 2 cassette pickup unit, check for broken parts and dirty sensors.
