Control panel settings enable

Hello,
I have canon ir8070. I will try create FTP Scan account in my copier. But Send and Address Book Settings are not available in my control panel. Why? How to Enable this option?

First of all you'll want to see if you have a universal send kit installed on this unit.

service mode level 2 copier > option > body > ui-send. If it's not there generally the kit isn't installed.

On that unit I believe it's a license with an extra stick of RAM.

Edit: Indeed, you need a Universal Send Kit-C1 in order to get send functionality on the 8070

You'll have to contact a Canon Authorised dealership as they're the only ones that can sell them new. There is ebay however Canon Universal Send KIT AND Multi PDL Print Package C1 2464B001 AA | eBay

Can get em for under 300$ CDN. Not as bad as when they were new and it was like what 2500,3000$ ish.
