[Misc] c5030 Missing IP Address???

When i log in my tab to change the network settings is gone.Also, if i print a User Data List the IP isnt there. Really Strange. Customer can still print and scan though.

you login with 7654321/7654321 and preferences > network isn't there? Do they have a fiery on the back of the unit?

Yes i am logged in correctly. There isnt a fiery on this machine.

Hrm, try a main con clear - p-print first of course. Try updating software via cds to latest.

They can print yes? Just pull the ip from the printer driver under ports and see if you can connect. I would do what I suggested first, seems like a software glitch if anything.

They are using macs and have changed the machine ip to a printer name. This machine is getting upgraded in 2 days. All i want is the address book. Guess im gonna have to work for it.

name to ip is dns, ping the name it'll show the ip. You can also enter the name in safari.
